Fetch Rewards app tops 5m daily active users

US consumer rewards app, Fetch Rewards, has surpassed 5m daily active users (DAUs), according to engagement metrics from Data.ai. Adding over 1 million to that number in the past month alone, the company said it is seeing widespread interest and adoption in its mission to create the worlds top rewards platform, enabling consumers and brands to engage in more meaningful ways.

With more than 17m people using the app each month, Fetch Rewards daily user count hit 5m for the first time in July. Demand for the app has continued to grow aggressively as consumers increasingly look for new ways to save money on essentials amid record-breaking inflation. So far in August, the average DAU count has been around 5.32m, peaking at 5.7m on 6 August.

In the mobile-app industry, the DAU/MAU (Monthly Active Users) metric is sometimes called the “stickiness ratio.” Utility savings apps typically see a stickiness ratio of 15-20 per cent, while social apps like Instagram and TikTok typically see stickiness ratios closer to 65-70 per cent. Fetch currently clocks in around 35 per cent, with the number increasing.

“Were reinventing the way people engage with brands by improving the efficiency of the relationship, and by making it fun, said Wes Schroll, CEO and Founder of Fetch Rewards. “Thats why were seeing these numbers climb. Fetch is fun, and you save money. Were looking forward to continuing to partner with brands that will offer consumers the best experience and leverage our vast amount of users to return the strongest impact for those brand partners.”

Capturing more than $133bn in annualized retail sales, the Fetch Rewards platform is equivalent to the nations fifth-largest and fastest-growing retailer.
