Online news service Yabot has announced its launch in Finland. Yabot monitors thousands of news articles from hundreds of media sources around the clock, making it easy for Yabot users to browse, search and keep up to date with the 24/7 on-line media. News articles are indexed, cross referenced and made available by Yabot to read on the web or the mobile phone. The UK mobile version of Yabot is at: http://uk.yabot.mobi
The news is sourced from open RSS-feeds published by the British media and other important channels published in English. The news is indexed and categorised to make it easy to find and search.
The Finnish version, Yabot Suomi, offers the same functionality as the existing Yabot sites, including free news search, news monitoring, and news sharing, together with integration of news into a website or blog, and a site exclusively for mobile users at http://fi.yabot.mobi. The Finnish news archive already contains hundreds of thousands of news items from over 100 Finnish media sources.
This is the next step on our route to expand in Europe, says Yabot Founder and Managing Director, Mats Ingelborn. We have been gathering news from Finland for a year and it is now time for an official launch.
Yabot is currently available in four editions: Sweden, Finland in Swedish, Finland and the UK. The company says it will launch more national Yabot sites before the end of the year.
