Flowd Boosts Fan Interaction on Music Platform

Flowd, the social network for music fans, has updated its mobile apps with new features for consumers and artists.
The company has enhanced its Offers feature, which is part of the Frequent Fans mobile commerce marketing platform. Designed for artists, the platform allows musicians to market to their fans, and the enhanced version lets artists reward their fans with mobile coupons issued through various trigger options. These triggers include location-based check-in through the mobile app, event check-in through the app, following an artist, and posting to an artists wall. Coupons can also be distributed through competitions.
For consumers, the update brings YouTube and Soundcloud integration, so fans can now watch and listen to artists on other social networks without leaving the Flowd app. The company has also given its website a redesign.
The new app versions are available on Android, iOS, and Nokia app stores.
