Flytxt has sold its UK and US agency business to  mobile media and technology company Buongiorno for a sum of around 4 million (2.75 million), seven months after announcing that the business was up for sale. Flytxt Ltd will now be part of Buongiornos Marketing Services division and trade under the Buongiorno name. 
Flytxt has restructured its remaining business to focus exclusively on its mobile marketing platform Neon. As part of the move, Flytxt Neon Ltd has been spun out of Flytxt Group and is now a separate entity.  Flytxt Neon Ltd consists of the Neon mobile marketing technology and its development and business teams.
The Neon technology business will continue to operate under the Flytxt brand and focus on its flagship product which was launched into the market last year. The company says that Neon has a rapidly growing customer base on three continents, and that Flytxt Neon will continue to target Neon at mobile operators, content aggregators, media and large enterprise customers.

Neon is a mobile marketing platform that automates the mobile marketing process and gives marketing departments in-house access to a complete set of mobile marketing tools. Flytxt says it is ideal for enterprises that regularly run high-volume marketing campaigns and require a sophisticated, in-house tool that can be used directly by their marketing departments. Neon is delivered either as an ASP service over the Internet or can be installed on a customers premises.
