Footasylum Launches Mobile Site

High street and online fashion retailer, Footasylum, has launched a transactional mCommerce site. Managed by mobile and Facebook commerce provider One iota, the launch of the mobile site follows the successful launch of Footasylum’s Facebook store in July. One iota is also working with the retailer on a transactional iPhone app that will be released in the next few days.

The mobile site can be found at: http://m.footasylum.com. It employs HTML5 and CSS3 technology, and what one iota describes as: “optimised express check-out processes”. The site also offers location-aware browsing and promotional management, with the entire solution fully integrated into Footasylum’s back office systems. The managed commerce solution is based on One iota’s MESH platform and modular technology approach, designed to take clients live quickly and effectively across new channels.

“Our goal is to be the leading partner of choice for retailers and brands in the UK who are looking to extend their eCommerce reach across new digital channels,” says One iotas CEO, Damian Hanson. “It’s become very clear that quick fix solutions are not the answer, and our integrated approach makes both technical and commercial sense for our clients.”
