Foursquare Explained in How-To Book

Communications consultant Carmine Gallo has written a book for businesses on harnessing Foursquares potential. 

The book, called The Power of Foursquare, outlines seven key pointers for using Foursquare to reward loyal customers and attract new ones, and features interviews with the marketing directors at big brands such as Starbucks, Wall Street Journal, Jimmy Choo, MTV, Walmart and Toys R Us, all of which have Foursquare partnerships. 

Gallo also interviews Foursquares co-founders Dennis Crowley and Naveen Selvadurai. 

“The shift of more and more of our daily habits from computers to mobile phones means everything about commerce and customer engagement is changing,” says the books publisher, McGraw-Hill. “A smart Foursquare strategy is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to make sure your business doesnt get left behind.”
