SabSe Technologies has launched an app that lets users send free SMS text messages over WiFi and 3G – whether the recipient is a user or not.
The app, called jaxtrSMS, integrates with your devices SMS and address book apps, so that your jaxtrSMS messages appear as a normal SMS, says the company.
Messages are free and can be sent to any phone worldwide. The app is available for Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows, Java, Symbian, and Nokia, and the company also says it works with tablets. In-app purchases allow users to buy a non-country-specific mobile phone number, or you can use your own mobile phone number.
