Icelandic network operator Sminn has selected mobile games distributor Selatra to provide an enhanced Java games service that is designed to increase the companys mobile games revenues.
Sminn, which has one of the highest mobile usage rates in the world, will benefit from our robust, scalable games service that saves them time, money and helps build new revenue streams quickly, says Selatra CEO Sean Cronin.
Siminn CEO Brynjlfur Bjarnason says he expects Selatras combination of better choice and faster, simpler service to feed through into the companys ARPU growth.
We chose Selatra because of their flexible support and their outstanding games catalogue, says Bjarnason. By delivering the best games to our demanding subscribers, we can establish an even stronger relationship with our customers and continue to drive value-added revenues. Partnering with Selatra allows us to achieve this.
The full range of games will be available to all Siminn customers from the beginning of August and can be accessed via Sminn wap sites. Sminn is Icelands largest operator. It provides all telecommunication, mobile and Internet services to private and corporate clients in Iceland. Its range of services and solutions includes fixed and mobile subscriptions, as well as IPTV, VoD, broadband/DSL and Centrex network solutions.
