According to the dating app, the move aims to expand the Bumble For Friends experience from one-to-one connections to groups and communities to serve the many ways people seek friendships.

Geneva said: “By bringing Geneva into Bumble, we aim to rapidly accelerate making this vision a reality, and in the coming quarters, our community will be able to join a new, group-centred friendship experience built by Bumble”.

Meanwhile, Bumble CEO, Lidiane Jones, continues: “There’s certainly a lot of interesting technology companies across the industry that we’re constantly looking at, but we immediately look at if it [Geneva] actually aligns and accelerates with our long-term mission here.”
