MWC-INSIDER.COM, a new, independent online publication for marketing decision-makers in the mobile space, has launched today. The site is the brainchild of Stephen Harmer, publisher and director at BRANDSAINTS, an integrated design and marketing agency and Kath Clarke, editor and director at Rosier Consulting, a specialist marketing agency for businesses in mobile. It aims to enable companies attending shows such as Mobile World Congress (MWC) to improve their return on investment and get more for their money.
“We wanted to create a community for marketers in the mobile space through best practice knowledge sharing,” says Clarke. “MWC is at the heart of the industry’s marketing calendar and where the largest chunk of marketing budget is spent. Marketers need to show a return on investment and this site will help them do that.”
Marketers can access best practice advice, expert opinion and top tips from other marketing leaders on subjects ranging from lead generation and product marketing campaigns to stand design, PR and events. The site also features a monthly In the Spotlight interview with a marketing leader, and a news feed from Mobile Marketing.
“MWC is a monster,” says Mobile Marketing editor, David Murphy. “Its an event you can’t afford to miss, but at the same time, one that, in truth, its hard to look forward to. If MWC.INSIDER.COM can help make sense of Mobile World Congress, and help you make the best use of your time there, it will become an invaluable resource for the mobile marketing industry.”
The site has contribution opportunities for marketing decision-makers for opinion pieces, and the In the Spotlight interview section. Send your ideas to: [email protected]
