GetJar has announced the 21 finalists for The Gettie Awards 2010 which recognize the best application developers across all major platforms from around the world. The 21 finalists were chosen out of 7,000 nominations, representing developers from over 100 countries for the best in mobile apps across six categories.
Winners from each category will be determined by review of the actual physical applications. The Gettie Award winner will be determined by a combination of nominations and judge’s votes. Winners will be honored at The Gettie Awards Ceremony on 12 July, which takes place in conjunction with the first evening of VentureBeat’s annual MobileBeat conference in San Francisco, California.
