Google is trialling Quick view functionality in its mobile search results.
Selected results will feature a Quick view badge, which can be clicked to access a preview of the page in a pop-up, with the option to click through to the full site.
The function is currently being tested for Wikipedia results only, but Google says it is working to expand this to other websites.
Google has also added expandable sitelinks to mobile search, enabling users to access a sites various sections without having to click through and navigate the site itself.
