Google has sold a Home device every second since October

Google has revealed that it sold more than one Google Home device every second since it started shipping the Google Home Mini back in October.
The Google Home Mini was introduced as a low-priced rival to compete with Amazon’s Echo Dot, and it can be assumed that more Mini devices were sold than original Home devices due to the price point, although Google hasn’t provided any sales figures. What we do know is that Google is likely to have sold somewhere in the region of 7m devices since October in total. 
Over the course of 2017, Google sold ‘tens of millions’ of its devices for the home. This also saw the tech giant introduced its Assistant AI to more than 400m devices, including Google Home, Android phones and tablets, iPhones, headphones, TVs, watches, and more. Furthermore, Assistant was introduced to a dozen countries and now offers its help in eight languages around the world.
