Google Now is available for the first time on iOS as part of an update to the Search app.
Within the iPhone and iPad app, users can manage boarding passes for flights or get details of their next meeting, along with weather, traffic and activity summaries. Integrated with Google Maps, the app can give users directions to a hotel or restaurant on arrival in a destination. It is also linked with contact details so users can be reminded of friends birthdays and give them a call or a message straight away. 
Reminder cards appear on-screen so the user doesnt have to search for or remember upcoming events. The service is integrated with voice search.
