Google Testing Open Project

Google is testing a platform to enable smartphone owners to project content from their handset onto a PC, internet TV or a big screen.

Open Project uses the devices camera to project apps onto internet-enabled devices, hooking up to the touchscreen inputs of the larger screen to enable people to interact with the content.

Developers can add support for Open Project within a native Android app without any additional hardware or software, enabling users to share or collaborate around things like games and maps.To enable mirroring, users open the Open Project webpage running on the larger internet-enabled screen and scan a QR code with the smartphone camera to pair the devices. They can then gesture to scale the image to fit the bigger screen.
