Grapple Creates Fish4jobs Apps

Mobile development company Grapple Mobile has developed mobile apps for job search website Fish4jobs

The apps, which are available for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, and Nokia smartphones, allow users to search and apply for advertised jobs while on the go.

The apps integrate with LinkedIn, which allows people to apply for jobs using their profile on the professional social networking site. Theres also a salary calculator, and the ability to share job ads with contacts on Facebook and Twitter.

Grapple Mobile CEO Alistair Crane says: “Fish4jobs has a diverse customer base who own a wide range of mobile devices, so developing a cross-platform app was imperative. With the launch of this new app they are really leading the way in the recruitment space, making job hunting a quicker, easier and more tailored experience, from your mobile device.”

Paul Halliwell, MD at Trinity Mirror Digital Recruitment – the company behind Fish4jobs – says: “The launch of our mobile jobseeker apps is central to Fish4jobs philosophy of providing jobseekers with the best access to relevant jobs wherever they are. As the first job site to provide iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Nokia users with jobseeker apps, we can deliver a better mobile job hunting experience to our 1.8m registered users.”
