Grazia Offers In-app Shopping on iOS

Bauer Media’s Grazia women’s magazine has relaunched its iOS app with an integrated shopping function and interactive content.

The app has been built using the Pugpig publishing platform created by Kaldor, which Grazias Victoria Harper said had enabled the magazine to offer more than just a simple PDF page turner. Grazia partnered with ShopStyle, an affiliate womens fashion aggregator, to enable users to click-through and buy items from different websites.

It will be offering new opportunities for advertising in-app, including product placement, exclusive sponsorship deals and bespoke interactive content pages. An in-house team will use Pugpig templates to rebuild the mag every week.
