Guavus, a big data analytics provider for three of the top five mobile carriers in the US, including Sprint, has closed a $30m round of funding. Investor Growth Capital led the round with participation from QuestMark Partners, along with previous investors Artiman Ventures, Sofinnova Ventures and Intel Capital.
Last month, the company launched its big data platform for telcos, NetReflex for Mobility, to help them analyse the data they have so they can deliver cost savings, a better consumer experience and improve network performance. Guavus will use the funds to expand its core products and scale operations in support of rising global demand for its big data analytics solutions.
“The explosion in sensor, operational and network data presents an unprecedented opportunity for businesses in every industry to deliver and optimise services, continuously,” said Anukool Lakhina, founder and CEO of Guavus. “New investors IGC and QuestMark, along with our existing investors, recognize that our success with some of the world’s largest carriers coupled with this round of investment positions us for long term growth as we look to expand our proven solutions globally.”
