Kwarter has has introduced the FanCake Rewards Program to its FanCake social app for sport fans, giving users the chance to win prizes for repeated use of the app.

By checking into games, earning FanCake medals based on real-time sports moments, and commenting on games, users earn FanCake Credits, which can then be redeemed for prizes including gift cards and discounted tickets, merchandise and food.

“Sports fans already enjoy following sports and watching them on TV. Now, with FanCake, we’re rewarding them for doing that,” says Kwarter CEO Carlos Diaz. “The FanCake Rewards Program takes the passive act of watching a game and adds some real interactivity, with the added bonus of tangible rewards for participation.
