Hellotxt, the social networking tool from Buongiorno that makes it easy to post text and media to separate accounts on the social web, has unveiled an updated version of its free iPad and iPhone app, including several new features, such as the ability to get artistic with your status update through freehand doodling; geo-location with auto-populating points-of interest (POIs); and a reading panel where users can merge updates from their friends and contacts across separate networks like Facebook and Twitter. The iPhone version also offers and Augmented Reality View of POIs.
