Made-to-measure blinds specialist Hillarys has launched new mobile sites for the UK and Ireland. Both were designed and built by Manchester digital agency Code Computerlove.
“The web drives an ever-growing number of appointments for our business and traffic to our site is also increasing around 13 per cent per annum, so our continued investment in our digital marketing is business critical,” explains Susan White from Hillary’s. “Ahead of launching the new mobile site, around 5 per cent of traffic was from mobile devices, equating to thousands of customers, and we expect to see this rise now we have a site designed to cater for touch screen mobile phones. Mobile technologies are an exciting opportunity for us to continue to drive growth through new channels.”
The mobile site emulates the core user journeys of the main website driving visitors to either make an appointment or request a brochure. “As the website is a single website shown in two different waysm it is also easy for us to keep both sites updated with one set of changes,” says White.
