Sees 71 Per Cent Increase in Mobile Bookings, which offers reservations for 250,000 rooms across 190 countries in 17 languages, has revealed a 71 per cent increase in mobile bookings since it went adaptive a year ago.

The company was keen to ensure it had a simplified website that worked on all handsets, with the adaptive site increasing conversions by 25 per cent. sees 50 per cent of mobile bookings made on the same day, so uses GPS to determine where the traveller is accessing the site from.

The company said: “The convenience of the mobile web has lent itself heavily to last minute bookings, and in order to maximize mobile revenue, a site that is quick to render, optimised across devices and contains clear links to contacts and locator maps is a must.”

The solution was implemented using Netbiscuits Cloud Platform.
