House of Dagmar releases mobile app built on Ombori and Microsoft tech

House of Dagmar appSwedish fashion brand House of Dagmar has teamed up with Ombori, a mobile retail app specialist, to launch its new mobile app which combines mobile shopping and social interactions, while enabling customers to be a part of the decision-making process at House of Dagmar.

The app features an intuitive search, a Pinterest-style layout, tailor-made offers, the ability to discuss new products and style tips with fellow shoppers, and the chance to be invited to give House of Dagmar direct in-store feedback.

House of Dagmar was founded in Stockholm in 2005 by sisters Karin Söderlind, Kristina Tjäder and Sofia Wallenstam. The brand is known for its expressive knitwear and progressive design aimed at ‘influential and conscious women’. Its lines are also sold on Orchard Mile in the US, and available at Net-a-Porter.

“Since Stockholm Fashion Week, the response of the fashion community to our new app has been incredible. The Ombori team has been hard at work testing and optimising the app, and we’re really excited for it now to be available for our customers and followers to experience,” said Söderlind, CEO at House of Dagmar. “Our customers are very important to us and we value their feedback, so an app that brought us closer to them was a no brainer for us.”

The House of Dagmar app was recently unveiled by Ombori at a fashion tech hackathon hosted by Microsoft. Here, the challenge was for concepts to be built with integrations to Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Dynamics platform. The app is available for free both the App Store and Play Store.

“Working with the House of Dagmar and Microsoft teams to build this new app has been an absolute pleasure. House of Dagmar is a brand that is constantly seeking news ways to better engage with their customers and followers, and we believe the app we’ve developed will do that and more,” said Andreas Hassellöf, founder of Ombori.
