Hovertravel, the Isle of Wight hovercraft operator, has launched an Android app.
Following on from its iOS app, the free app can be used to see service updates, and also track the location of the Hoverbus. The app also enables users to find special offers, find out more about the bus and rail connections available, and check fares. 
“Last year, there were more Android than iPhone users in the UK, so we thought it was important to make our app accessible to more of our customers,” said Loretta Lale, marketing manager for Hovertravel. “The Hovertravel app is the perfect companion for planning and tracking a hovercraft trip between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.”
