How QR Could Take Tourism into the Future

Hungarian creative development agency ARworks has released a video presenting its vision of a QR code-enabled city of the future. It pitches the idea of placing QR codes on every street, that visitors could scan to find out more about the history of a location, and transport and tourist information.
To the best of our knowledge, QR codes are not currently being used in this way by any cities, but please get in touch if you know different. The opportunity seems ripe, especially with the London 2012 Olympic Games approach.
