Accor-owned hotel brand Ibis has launched a campaign to reconnect the world through music via a partnership with Sony Music Entertainment and Spotify.
The ‘Ibis Music We Are Open’ campaign features a virtual music tour where artists – including the UK’s Izzy Bizu and Charlie Winston, and Brazil’s Pabllo Vittar – will perform from various Ibis locations around the world until 21 April.
Ibis has collaborated with Bizu on the campaign and she has curated a lineup which also the RnB and pop of Germany’s Amilli, the work of Moroccan hip-hop producers Meta4 Planet, and the unique tone of Australia’s Hanni, as well as artists from Mexico, India, Belgium, Indonesia, Poland, and Spain.
“I’m thrilled to join this special journey with Ibis Music – to re-connect artists and fans from around the world in these socially distanced times,” said Biz. “Music has the ability to transcend the differences between us and bring together like nothing else, and I’m incredibly excited to begin this musical adventure.”
Performances will be broadcast via Ibis’ IGTV, Facebook, and YouTube channels. Gig details will be shared on Instagram, along with opportunities to win prizes, discover new Spotify playlists, and more.
