Some of the calls to action include: “Do try ignoring the recipe at home,” “Do try mischief at home,” and “Do try showing off at home.”

The advert, directed by Filip Nilsson, also features both life-action and animated visuals illustrating how enhancing one’s home can drive happiness.

The unified global campaign will initially be rolled out in Italy, Finland and Belgium, before appearing in all 31 countries and key markets including the UK, the US and Australia.

Ikea’s parent company Ingka Group’s, Growth and Marketing Manager, Licca Li said: “This campaign represents another step, supporting our customers with inspiration on how a home can enable their passions, where they can begin to push the boundaries in an affordable way.”

Ingka Retail Manager, Tolga Öncü added: “We believe that home is more than just a place to eat and sleep – it’s a place where you can unleash your creativity and have fun.

“That’s why we created ‘Do Try This at Home’, a campaign that shows you how affordable ideas for home can empower you. No matter your style, budget or space, you can find inspiration and tips on how a home can be a place that supports your passions.”
