Cloud communications software provider IMImobile has integrated the WhatsApp Business solution into IMIconnect, the company’s enterprise cloud communications platform.
WhatsApp Business, introduced just over a year ago by the Facebook-owned messaging platform, enables businesses to connect with and offer support to more than 1.5bn users around the world. With IMIconnect becoming a WhatsApp Business solution provider, enterprises will be able to integrate the WhatsApp Business solution into their customer communications strategies and drive engagement through the messaging service.
IMImobile’s customers are able to use WhatsApp Business to send alerts and notifications as well as providing customer self-service and support. Meanwhile, the integration of the WhatsApp Business communication flow builder and multi-channel API also enables businesses to provide automated fall-back to different channels, such as SMS.

The WhatsApp Business API has also been integrated with IMImobile’s unified omnichannel agent chat product, IMIchat.
WhatsApp revealed last month that its Business app is now being used by more than 5m businesses to support their customers.
