“In 12 Months, Auto Trader on Mobile will Overtake Desktop”

Trader Media Group, the publisher behind Bike Trader, Farmers Trader and perhaps most recognisably Auto Trader became a digital-only business earlier this year after closing down more than 10 printed publications.

 Jonathan Williams, group marketing director, says that now around 30 per cent of people accessing Auto Trader’s website do so through a mobile device, a figure he expects to exceed desktop in 12 months. “We’re investing significantly more this year than weve ever invested in terms of mobile marketing,” he said.
