Incentivated gets Health Club Brief

Mobile marketing agency Incentivated has been appointed by the leisure division of Serco,  which provides outsourced management of local authority-owned leisure, health and fitness clubs, to handle all future SMS-based promotions at its 100 clubs nationwide. The company will run an SMS-based campaign offering Serco members special offers, news, events, and appointment reminders. The appointment follows a successful Text and Win pilot campaign for Sercos Trowbridge Leisure Centre branch. The promotion, advertised in a local newspaper, offered consumers the chance to text in for their chance to win a years free membership, with several hundred consumers entering the competition.
The response was amazing, and Incentivated has proved  that using SMS to communicate with our customers will ultimately generate greater revenues for the local authorities on whose behalf we manage leisure facilities says Sercos Darren Sprig.
Results in terms of customer acquisition and retention are superb adds Incentivated managing director, Jonathan Bass. Mobile marketing has been shown to work time and time again in both the public and private sectors. Managers of public sector facilities have to use the latest tools to compete with privately-owned facilities whose marketing budgets can be huge. Mobile marketing is one of the most cost-effective forms of media, and the initial entry costs are low as well.
