Mobile browsing solutions company Infogin has announced the InfoGin Smartphone Web Optimizer - a software solution that attempts to optimise website content for mobile devices whether the content is mobile-ready or not.

The Smartphone Web Optimizer automatically analyses web content and renders it according a network operator's network characteristics.

The company says that the solution can save up to 30 per cent of data for networks. The software can also overlay operator's toolbars and browsing tools over the user's browsing view.

Eran Wyler, InfoGin's founder and CEO, says: "Addressing the growing demand for optimised mobile web browsing, InfoGin developed a special support for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and other smartphone devices. From our analysis, conducted in February 2012, and based on our North American services, more than 64 per cent of the mobile web traffic is not optimized for smartphones."
