Infographic: 90 per cent of Latin Americans Smartphone Owners Use mCommerce

With the worlds eyes turned towards Brazil for the World Cup, a new report shows that 90 per cent of Latin Americans smartphone owners are using their devices to make eCommerce purchases.
In 2012, the Latin American eCommerce market was worth $26bn (£15bn), with 43 per cent of the population connected to the internet and more gaining access every year. While 59 per cent of users prefer paying using cards, almost 48 per cent will stop completing a payment if they are unable to use local payment methods.
