Infographic: UK Consumers Finding Mobile Ads More Informative and Helpful

There has been a large jump in mobile ad engagement over the past 12 months, with UK consumers 76 per cent more likely to find mobile ads informative and helpful than they were last year.
The figures come from a study into mobile path-to-purchase by global location marketplace xAd and call measurement tech provider Telmetrics. The study, which surveyed 2,000 UK mobile users, also found that secondary actions, such as visiting a website or calling the business, were the best indicators of purchase intent, with 77 per cent of users who took action post-click purchasing products or planning to do so in the near future.
