Informa Telecoms & Media has annnounced the launch of the AfricaCom Awards 2008. The awards will take place during the annual AfricaCom event. AfricaCom is now in its 11th year and has shown continual growth as a result of the wealth of opportunities that exist in the African telecommunications market. The AfricaCom Awards 2008 winners will be revealed at Gala Dinner on 18 November in the Grand Ballroom at the International Convention Centre, Cape Town.
The AfricaCom Awards 2008 is a celebration of the achievements of the African telecommunications industry and will be independently judged by a panel of senior level industry experts. The Awards categories are:
