InMobi Launches City Targeting, iPhone Creative

Mobile ad network InMobi, which has operations in 37 countries and serves 7.5 billion ad requests monthly, has launched what it says is the mobile advertising industrys most ambitious local targeting capability for advertisers to date. The program, which is available immediately in the UK, France, Indonesia, S. Africa, US, and India to over 15,000 cities and regions, will continue to expand during 2010. The program also includes the ability to target iPhone consumers with new, optimised creative, specific to the iPhone experience.
Both the city targeting and iPhone enhancements are part of InMobis most comprehensive, advertiser-focused product release in the past year. The iPhone platform includes several creative options, including video, search and local calls-to-action served in an iPhone-optimized, 320×48 banner.
Other key features include more detailed handset targeting by model; operator-level targeting by country and city (e.g Orange, France, Paris); and expansive technology improvements to InMobis ad-serving engine, based on improved targeting data and quality control procedures. The advantage of this advertiser-focused program, says InMobi, is better ROI via millions of new targeting options and technology that serves the right creative for each consumers particular phone environment.
