Intel Partners with Fossil for Fashionable Wearables

Computing company Intel has announced it is partnering with lifestyle and fashion brand Fossil to produce a new series of wearable technology.
The partnership will focus on identifying, supporting and developing the emerging trends in wearable technology, working together to produce products and technologies for the fashion-oriented consumer. Fossils experience in watch and fashion accessory design will augment and support Intels technology knowledge.
In addition, Fossil Group will work with Intels global investment organisation, Intel Capital, to pick out co-investments in emerging technologies that will enable to two companies to accelerate industry innovation and stay at the cutting edge of the wearable consumer trend. Intel Capital has already invested in a wide range of startups in the wearables market, including Thalmic Labs and Basis.
