Interactive Content and Stuff

Gadget magazine Stuff has incorporated Blippars image recognition technology into its May issue. Its previously done similar for interactive issues of Nuts and Total Film. You know the drill by now: scan the markered content using the Blippar app to access images, video content, and competitions.

What is perhaps most interesting are the blippable ads and advertorial content – for products including LG 3D TVs, and Taylor Made golf clubs – which can be directly bought through the Blipp to Buy platform, which was introduced in February.

“Publishers are increasingly appreciating the potential for our platform to make their magazines more exciting, interactive, and engaging for readers,” says Stephen Shaw, Opportunities Director for Blippar. “But Blippar also provides a bridge to connect readers to publishers and advertisers own digital content platforms, be it desktop or mobile sites, for further brand engagement and richer product experiences.”
