iPad Kiosks Offer Tablet as Marketing Device

iPad Kiosks Direct has launched its kiosks in the UK. The company markets kiosks that can securely store an iPad 1 or iPad 2, which can be deployed in retail, trade show, company receptions, and a variety of other environments.
The company says that iPads in kiosks can are completely secure and can still connect to 3G networks. The idea is for companies to run their own apps or websites in a marketing environment. There are free-standing and wall-mountable models available.
Prices start at £329 for a wall-mounted model, and there are also listening post style kiosks that come with headphones. The company says that clients so far include Adidas, the University of East London, and Cheltenham College.
