Publishing company IPC Media has selected Swanify as its preferred mobile app agency – a partnership which will see Swanify developing an app framework for the company. Using the framework, apps can be created using HTML5 technology and then reconfigured to work natively for iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone.
“Mobile is a key part of IPC’s digital plans,” says IPC digital publishing director Paul Cheal. “These apps developed by Swanify mean consumers can access our content across iPhone, Android and BlackBerry, throughout the day and wherever they are. They also give us increased inventory for commercial partners, in a made-for-mobile environment.”
Swanify, which was founded last year, has already worked with IPC to develop the Best Beauty Buys app for Instyle and a tutorial app for Golf Monthly.
