The iPhone 3.0 software update is now available in the UK. The update delivers more than 100 improvements and enhancements over the previous version of the OS, including cut, copy, and paste functionality, Spotlight Search, and a landscape keyboard option. Also included are MMS capability, push notifications, and Find My Phone which enables members of Apples MobileMe service to locate lost iPhones.
iPhone users can obtain the update by firing up iTunes, connecting the phone and selecting it in the Source list, under Devices then click the Check for Update link in the iPhone Summary pane.
