Ad-financed mobile social networking service itsmy.com has revealed that it has  attracted half a million registered mobile Internet users. The itsmy.com philosophy is to give everybody worldwide a user-friendly, free mobile homepage, including a personal mobile address. The service includes all standard social networking services, from private messaging via picture- and video-blogging to location based social services, and a Mobile TV channel which brings all users together.

itsmy.com Chief Strategy Officer Mikko Saarelainen says the brands growth has been fastest in the US and the UK, and points out that only 6% of all cellphone owners have ever used the mobile Internet, and only 2% of the entire subscriber base of mobile operators have ever tried to surf in 3G networks.
