Audiobook distributor Jagamaga has released a collection of 100 audiobooks for mobile download. The books are ad-supported, and free to download.
The current Jagamaga catalog consists of classic bestsellers. The length ranges from 4-minute short stories to the 24 hour, unabridged reading of Moby Dick.The catalogue amounts to over 500 hours of audio, in six genres: Childrens, Crime & Horror, Classic Fiction, Religion & Philosophy, History, and Business & Economics.
The audiobooks are narrated by volunteers at LibriVox, and Jagamaga applies professional audio restoration and mastering to the source files to ensure the best quality. The converted audio files can be downloaded directly on any handset with broadband Internet capability and a suitable data plan.
