Jolla Adds Angry Birds Themed Launcher to Promote Sailfish OS

stella_press_landscapeFinnish mobile company Jolla has collaborated with game developer Rovio to produce an Angry Birds-themed launched for its mobile operating system Sailfish.

The Angry Birds Stella Launcher, which is initially available for free on the popular Chinese Taobao and UC app stores, gives Android users access to exclusive Angry Birds content while enabling them to experience Jollas OS.

Among the Angry Birds content packaged with the launcher is mobile wallpaper, ringtones and unlimited access to Rovios ToonsTV from the home screen.

“Our Toons.tv has racked up more than 3bn views and with the Angry Birds Stella Launcher all this fantastic content is just one swipe away,” said Peter Vesterbacka, Mighty Eagle at Rovio. “With Angry Birds Toons Season 2 and the Angry Birds Stella animated series just around the corner, we are delighted to offer the Angry Birds Stella Launcher to all our fans with Android devices together with Jolla.”
