Rob Rinder stars in Quality Street’s paper tub trial

Quality Street’s new Christmas campaign features broadcaster, author, and barrister Rob Rinder putting the brand’s latest paper tub “on trial.”
In a Netflix-style courtroom drama, Rinder takes on the roles of defence, prosecution and judge to assess the new, environmentally friendly packaging.
Quality Street introduced recyclable paper wrappers in 2022, and this holiday season, 200,000 recyclable paper tubs are being “trialled” at select Tesco stores across England and Wales.
The campaign trailer presents arguments both for and against the new packaging, echoing the style of popular legal dramas.
“Despite compelling arguments from both sides, there was only ever going to be one verdict,” said Rinder.
“The Quality Street recyclable paper tub trial is another bold step in the right direction from my favourite Christmas brand, and it’s been a privilege to be a small part of their sustainability journey.”
