Mobile advertising solutions firm Jumptap has launched its ‘Passport to Freedom’ program, which it says is designed to: “help mobile app developers and publishers seeking a reliable source of revenue amidst the ongoing battles between Google and Apple”.
According to Jumptap, the new program empowers mobile app developers and publishers to increase their revenue using the industry’s most comprehensive array of ad solutions that run across any device , including iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, and BlackBerry, from one ad network and one single point of integration.
The program establishes a $4m fund for new customers, who will get to keep 100 per cent of their revenues through the rest of 2010 or until the fund is depleted – whichever is sooner. For anyone who becomes an advertiser and reinvests the earnings, Jumptap will double the amount available for advertising dollars – that’s up to a 200 per cent payout. To get started, new customers just need to sign up for an account and download the SDK.
“We launched this program in response to the many developers and publishers who are at risk of losing revenue as a result of being caught in the crossfire between Google and Apple’s battle over platform control,” says Jumptap CMO, Paran Johar. “They need a reliable and consistent stream of revenue from one single provider that supports all devices. Jumptap is the only open platform that offers the best of all worlds, including both premium and performance advertising solutions, the most comprehensive array of rich media ad units, top tier advertisers, and the most advanced targeting – all designed to drive increased fill rates and deliver the highest revenues to our customers.”
Jumptap says that mobile app developers and publishers on the Passport to Freedom program will benefit from increased revenues thanks to the 100 per cent payout guarantee; reduced costs through working with a single network; greater reach, which will appeal to advertisers; and superior monetization by leveraging a broad spectrum of advertising options, including search, display, rich media, video and in-app advertising across both premium and performance solutions.
