London minicab app Kabbee has partnered with automated despatch service provider Cordic, to create a digital minicab booking solution.
The partnership means that once a passenger makes a Kabbee booking, the journey will be electronically sent via a fleet’s despatch software to the GPS system of the closest available driver.
Its a functionality which, by Kabbees own admission, is also available in competing apps, such as Hailo and Uber. The taxi apps market is increasingly crowded, and while this deal wont give Kabbee a headstart, it will help them keep up, and support its expansion to major UK cities by speeding up the process of adding fleets.
“We are excited to be forming a powerful and exclusive partnership with Cordic,” said Justin Peters, CEO of Kabbee. “By combining the consumer appeal of our award-winning mobile apps with Cordic’s market leading fleet management software, we can create the perfect outcome for fleets, drivers and consumers. Kabbee’s vision is to improve the sector for all stakeholders and this agreement is a big step in that direction.”
