Customer engagement company Kahuna has launched RevIQ, a new tool that aims to help brands maximise their sales by intelligently launching messages to customers at key moments.
The solution, which is already being used by brands including Coupons.com, Hotel Tonight and Overstock.com, enables marketers to automatically update and optimise trigger-based campaigns using time delays to create the highest conversion rates.
Accord to Kahuna, around 70 per cent of online shopping carts are abandoned, representing around $4 trillion (£2.55 trillion) worth of merchandise, but up to 63 per cent of this is recoverable by engaging the customer in the correct way.
After testing the effectiveness of message timings and content on various groups, the tool then uses an algorithm with sophisticated AI to automate the process, ensuring the best message is delivered at the optimum time.
“Were excited to introduce this new product because we believe it will help brands bring intelligent marketing to the next level,” said Adam Marchick, founder and CEO of Kahuna. “When people have two or three devices they interact with daily, being able to send the right message at the right time can mean the difference between a brands success or failure.”
“Kahunas RevIQ capability allows us to understand and engage with our shoppers on a deeper level,” said Dave Geary, senior vice president of marketing & business development at Coupons.com. “With Kahuna, we can better personalise our messages, increase engagement and ensure an optimal user experience. Its a win-win for our brand, partners and shoppers.”
