Digital and mobile marketing firm i-Free has partnered with the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kazakhstan to launch a text messaging service that enable entrepreneurs to establish whether company audits by law-enforcement agencies is legitimate.
The service is designed to prevent abuses by law enforcement agencies, and improve citizens’ access to the Kazakh Prosecutor General’s Office. Text & Win it ain’t, but if it meets a need in the country, it’s another example of mobile marketing at its multifaceted best.
To find out whether if the visit is legitimate, users just need to send the warrant registration number via SMS. The reply takes just a few seconds, and informs the sender which location is due to be visited, which agency is due to conduct the visit, and which officer from that agency is responsible.
