Bango has announced that Adam Kerr, Vice President of its North American operations, is to head up the companys newly-established web sales division as Vice President of Web Sales.
The new division is focused on the mass market opportunity for Bango products, starting with Bango Analytics, which delivers mobile-focused web stats and which, says Bango, is essential for everyone with a mobile website. Kerr will be responsible for developing new channel and referral programs for Bango, as well as fine tuning the web sales offer for the mass market.
Kerr has more than 15 years experience in the Internet and payments industries. He previously worked at WorldPay, an Internet payment company who were acquired by Royal Bank of Scotland, the worlds fifth largest bank. Kerr has played a pivotal role in implementing Bangos North American sales strategy by building and managing a successful sales operation, headquartered in New York.
The time is right for the mobile web to become a key element in the worlds marketing and advertising ecosystem, says Bango CEO, Ray Anderson. With the recent launch of Bango Analytics, and future offerings to come, Bango is well positioned to meet the need for mobile analytics world-wide. I am pleased that Adam will be heading up our sales efforts in this emerging market.
