Last Call for MIDEM Pitch Applications

If you’re an app developer or a start-up proposing innovative solutions for the music industry, you have just two days left to apply to MidemNet Lab for the chance to pitch your project at MIDEM next January to a panel of high-profile judges, including Disney/Tapulous Tim OBrien, we7s Steve Purdham, and a range of venture capitalists.

MidemNet Lab is an international pitch platform for the world’s most innovative music startups and mobile apps in the digital music space in three categories: Mobile applications; Digital services for the industry (b2b); and digital services for consumers (b2c).

UK consulting and research specialists Music Ally will nominate the finalists to pitch at MIDEM to a panel of industry experts & VCs and MIDEM audience. Submissions are free of charge, and finalists get to pitch for five minutes to the judging panel.

One winner is selected in each category. Applications must come newly-established companies (no more than 3 years ago) with a maximum of 10 full-time employees, and independently owned. You must be business ready, either already launched or in beta, and you must also commit to register and attend MIDEM if selected to pitch. MIDEM takes place in Cannes, France, from 22 – 26  January, 2011.
